Poetry Performance

Speak, Hong Kong

Saturday, Sep 26, 19:30 @ Zhongzheng Auditorium, Taipei Zhongshan Hall

The literature and pop culture in Hong Kong and Taiwan have influenced each other, and Hong Kong’s rapidly-changing fate is connected to our future. In music, text, video and acting, the performance takes multiple perspectives reflecting on the critical historical moments and life changes in Hong Kong. Based on Liu Wai-Tong's poem, artists from the two places join hands to help the audience experience Hong Kong through literature and contemplate their own future.

Parts of the performance will be in Cantonese.

*Admission to “Speak, Hong Kong” is free, but tickets are required. Tickets are available on Sep 09, 12:00pm. Limited to two tickets per person at KKTIX (https://2020taipeipoetryfestival.kktix.cc/events/speakhk) and Taipei Zhongshall Hall.
